Your privacy

Privacy, simply.

Effective October 21, 2026. Calpin Labs operates Maggie.

What Maggie stores

When you sign in with Apple, we store an account identifier, your saved links, list content, price alerts, subscription status, group memberships, pledges, and purchase or return notes you choose to save. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token. We do not collect payment card details or move gift money.

Who processes it

Cloudflare hosts accounts and lists. Product URLs and search queries go to TinyFish and, when configured, Serper to retrieve store information. Your Apple identity and private notes are not sent to these services. Apple processes sign-in, purchases and notifications. AI runs on your device by default; eligible requests can use Apple's Private Cloud Compute when available.

Sharing and surprises

Anyone with a shared list link can view its titles, notes, images and prices. Keep personal details out of shared notes. Collaborators can edit. Purchased marks are hidden from the owner unless they enable “Spoil me”; public web pages never expose purchase status. A link holder can save a copy, so revocation cannot erase copies they already made.

Your choices

You can disable sharing, notifications and hints; remove saved items; or delete your account in Settings. Deletion revokes Apple sign-in and removes account data from our active database. Apple manages subscription cancellation separately. Price history is retained for up to one year. Security or abuse reports may be retained without your account identifier.

No cross-app advertising

Maggie has no third-party advertising SDK. Store links may earn a commission; merchants operate their own privacy policies. Remote product images are loaded from their original hosts.
